This will be the first M series model that will be assembled locally in India, along with being the most powerful 3-Series car on offer. For this performance, the car will rely on a 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine, capable of churning out 374 hp and 500nm of torque.

This will be mated to an 8-speed automatic with 4 Wheel Drive, helped by BMW’s Drive AWD system. There is also a rear-wheel-drive option for those who wish to opt for the same.

Apart from the raw power, the M340i also comes with certain updates making it worthy of the M badge. These updates consist of an M-specific suspension tech, M Sport brakes, an M Sport differential, and an M Sport exhaust system.

These are aimed at improving the overall driving dynamics of the M340i. Moving towards the interior of the car, it will make use of the same features that come with the standard 3 Series car, such as extended storage, three-zone automatic climate control,  ambient lighting and more.

Certain other features include Park Distance Control, Remote Services, Concierge related services, BMW’s Live Cockpit Plus complete with a navigation system as well as an 8.8-inch display.
