The Maranello based Formula One Team, Scuderia Ferrari has completed the testing and firing up of the new power unit from the team, which will power the SF21 chassis for the 2021 season. This testing saw the engine roar to life at the team’s Gestione Sportiva facility in Maranello.
This unit will also be used in the cars of the team’s customers, namely Haas and Alfa Romeo. This unit is an all-new build, following a disappointment from the team in 2020. The poor performance saw the company drop to sixth in the constructor’s cup, the lowest score to have been seen by the company since 1980. This also impacted the team’s star driver, Sebastian Vettel, who also had his final season at the team.

Ferrari has confirmed the launch dates for the team and the SF21, due on February 26 and March 10, respectively. Speaking about this, Team Principal Mattia Binotto told this to the workers at the factory. “Our 2021 season starts here”,“We can expect plenty of challenges along the way and we are determined to do better.
