Microsoft Launches Business Focused Surface Pro 7+ Priced at Rs 83,999

Popular tech giant Microsoft on Monday announced the launch of its Surface Pro 7+, focused on Businesses and commercial customers in India. The company also announced that its Surface Hub 85-inch will start shipping in India starting March 3rd.

The Microsoft Surface Hub 85-inch is priced at Rs 21,44,999 whilst the Surface Pro 7+, available in multiple versions, ranging from the 11th Gen Intel Core i3 to the i7 starts at Rs 83,999.

Surface Pro 7+ Specifications

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels with a ppi of 267. The display also comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio.

In terms of storage and processors, the device comes with up to 32GB of RAM and maximum storage of 1TB via an SSD. In terms of performance, users can purchase the Pro 7+ with up to an 11th gen Intel Core i7 11657 processor.

On the software side of things, it comes with Windows 10 Pro with Microsoft 365 apps pre-loaded.

As for the camera, the device sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with full HD video support. As for the rear camera, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera. There are also dual far-field studio mics and 1.6W stereo speakers on the device, with support for Dolby Atmos.

The device comes with a USB Type-C port, USB-A, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD reader (Wi-Fi variant), Wi-Fi/LTE and is capable of running for up to 15 hours of battery life.

“For the first time, Surface Pro 7+ will ship with Windows Enhanced Hardware Security features enabled out of the box.

The devices can be managed and updated through the cloud from the first moment the device is turned on and throughout the device lifecycle without IT having to physically touch the device,” Microsoft in a release.

Microsoft Surface Hub 2S 85-inch Specifications

The Surface Hub 2S 85-inch comes with a resolution of  3840×2160 pixels. For power, the hub depends on the quad-core 8th Intel Core i5 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. The Hub runs on Windows 10 Team OS with support for Microsoft Whiteboard, Office, Power BI, and Skype for Business.

“Many organizations are recognizing the importance of large screen, collaborative devices like Surface Hub for a hybrid workforce. In addition to the currently available 50” Surface Hub 2S, the 85” version will now allow customers to take advantage of the Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise configurations.

This will enable them to run all of their business-critical applications utilizing the massive 4K PixelSense touch and ink enabled screen, Microsoft Teams certified audio and video, and an array of onboard sensors,” added Microsoft.
